Mando Diao was formed in Borlänge by Björn Dixgård and former keyboadist Daniel Haglund. A short while after Gustaf Norén was invited to the band.

2002 Mando Diao got a recordcontrect with EMI and sience then the success has been a fact. Both national and international.
